Last week ByteDance announced that it’s looking to sell its games business with Tencent confirmed as one of the potential buyers.
In other news, more layoffs hit the games industry with recent announcements from Bossa, Archiact VR and Unity.
Lastly, Phoenix Labs vets Jeanne-Marie Owens and Jesse Houston revealed the opening of a new studio - Critical Path Games. The new studio is based in Vancouver, and intends to create a new video game genre
